The Habitat Wake ReStores sell new and used building materials, furniture and household items at discounted prices. Shoppers can purchase lumber, plumbing fixtures, lighting, flooring, furniture, windows, doors, tile, blinds, cabinets, appliances and more. You can find a Habitat Wake ReStore in Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Fuquay-Varina, Wake Forest, and Glenwood Ave.
The ReStores collect tax-deductible donations of new and used furniture and building materials from community donors and Habitat’s Deconstruction Services program. All ReStore proceeds support Habitat’s mission to build affordable homes in Wake County. If that’s not motivation enough to shop, consider that the ReStores diverted more than 5,000 tons of usable materials from local landfills last year.
