Today, the Apex ReStore team (staff, volunteers & customers) have put away their ReStore aprons and day jobs to swing a hammer! The team will have the opportunity to be volunteers on a construction site in Apex. Habitat Wake is currently building fives homes in Apex and have to date, completed 25.

Volunteering with Habitat Wake on the construction site can be an amazing experience. You will meet some great people, learn a new skill, enjoy working outdoors, and have the satisfaction of knowing that you are making a difference. In many instances, you will be working together with the partner family who will be purchasing the Habitat home. The gratification of using your hands to build a home that will be the begining of a new life for a family who has been living in house poverty - this is powerful!

Gather up your friends, family and co-workers and make a plan to come out to one of our construction sites and get involved. It's easy, it's fun and it's a great way to connect to your community.
