Congratulations to Dave Clark and Lisa Piper, owners of The Small B&B Cafe in Pittsboro, NC. They had the winning bid for the Light Wall Pavilion in the auction that ended June 11. Eventually, the Paviliion will be turned into one of the B&B bedrooms! To view the Light Wall in its new habitat, visit their Facebook page.
Designed and built to showcase reused materials, the Light Wall Pavilion is the culmination of the 2012 ReSpace design competition. Habitat Wake took one of the winning designs and, with the help of countless volunteers, built the Light Wall in a 48 hour blitz.
The pavilion includes a variety of materials donated or salvaged from around Wake County.
The sale of the Light Wall Pavilion will help Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore further the mission of Habitat Wake while also showcasing what can be done with reuse materials.
