We're in this, together.

We are hoping to have our stores fully open in the coming weeks, but until then we are using a phased approach to make sure we are keeping our staff, volunteers, shoppers and donors safe!  Please see below our phased-in approach to opening our stores to shoppers and donors. This plan is subject to change at any point if additional state or federal guidelines come out, or if we feel we are not able to keep our staff safe. See our plan for reopening the construction sites here

phase l
Phase one:

Our brick-and-mortar stores are not open to the public for shopping or for donating, but we have a brand-new online store! It will remain available even once our stores are open again. Hundreds of items are available, and we offer contactless curbside pick-up. All proceeds fund Habitat’s mission to build affordable homes in our community.

Shop now!

phase ll
Phase two (beginning May 26):

In phase two, all of our ReStores will be open to shoppers and donors.

Modified store hours during this time will be:
Tuesday - Saturday, 10am - 4pm

We strongly encourage all patrons to wear a mask while shopping, for both their safety and the safety of our staff.

phase lll
Phase three (beginning June 2):

We are now scheduling and making donation pick ups -- online scheduling is currently unavailable. To help ensure the safety of our donors and our donation ambassadors, all donations must be outside or in a donor's garage. We will not be able to go inside of a donor's residence.

Schedule a free pick-up!

Please note our new safety protocol:

  • Staff are frequently wiping down “high touch” areas throughout the day (door knobs, restrooms, water fountains, breakrooms), as well as non-porous surfaces.

  • The number of customers in the stores will be limited to 2 per 1,000 square feet to help with social distancing.

  • We strongly recommend that customers wear a face covering while shopping. These will be available for purchase at our store, and we will offer a 10% discount for anyone wearing a mask.

  • Plexiglass is installed at all checkout stations, and we have floor decals every six feet to help remind customers where to stand in line.

  • Disinfection will take place the hour before opening and the hour after closing.

  • We are only able to accept credit cards at this time.

  • Donors will unload their items in designated outdoor receiving areas:

    • If the donor is unable to unload a piece by themselves, they should stay in their vehicle and allow staff to unload.

    • A staff member will fill out their donation receipt and send to the donor.

  • Donations will be separated upon arrival:

    • Non-porous items will be wiped down and disinfected immediately and moved inside for processing.

    • Upholstered items will be put in a “holding area” in each store to sit for 72 hours before processing.

  • Staff are required to wear gloves when accepting and disinfecting donations.
